Jamie qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2000 whilst working for NAI Gooch Webster (now Colliers CRE). He then joined Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) where he co-managed the property element of the Lloyds Group Pension Scheme and the Airport Industrial Property Unit Trust (AIPUT) with total property assets of c.£1.5Bn.
Subsequently, Jamie joined Stockland Plc where he was responsible for the acquisition of development and investment opportunities across Scotland and the North of England.
Jamie has been instrumental in growing West Ranga Property Group into one of the UK’s most dynamic and innovative property companies.
Adam began his surveying career in Lambert Smith Hampton’s Edinburgh office and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2002. He held further senior roles with DTZ and Knight Frank before co-founding Burns & Shaw LLP.
The firm provides occupational, development and investment advice across all sectors with clients including Aberforth Partners, London & Oriental, Mapeley, BUPA, Blackrock Land (Uk) Ltd, C&W Assets, Hansteen Holdings Plc, Henderson Global Investors, Peveril Securities and UBS.
Adam is co-founder and Director of West Ranga Property Group.
James became a Chartered Surveyor in 2001 whilst working for Weatherall Green & Smith (now BNP Paribas) in London before being recruited to become a fund manager for CBRE Global Investors. Whilst at CBREGI he managed 2 high income funds with property assets in excess of £250M.
In 2006, he moved back to Yorkshire and worked for Teesland IOG (now Cromwell Group) managing several funds with £350M of property assets. In 2010, he set up Citivale and over the last 7 years has developed the company from being a regional asset management firm to incorporating an operating partner role.
James is a co-founder of West Ranga Property Group.
Michael started his career in 2007 as a commercial agent at James Barr before moving to Sydney for a year working as a Senior Property Consultant. On his return to Scotland in 2013 he joined FG Burnett as an agent before successful client-side spells at both London & Scottish, as a senior asset manager and HFD as Development Director.
Michael joined West Ranga Developments in 2022 to source and deliver new development projects.
Chris began his career in 1999 at Deloitte in Glasgow before spending time in their London and New York offices over 8 years with the company initially within Audit & Assurance Services and then Private Equity Transaction Services. He moved to HBOS/Lloyds Banking Group in 2007 spending time in their Private Equity Fund Investments and Real Estate Business Support functions. In 2013 he joined Chris Stewart Group as Corporate Finance Director where he was instrumental in the significant growth of the real estate development business.
Chris joined West Ranga Property Group in 2022 as Finance Director.
Widely known and highly respected across the UK property market, Alastair has over 25-years development and investment experience working for Scottish & Newcastle, MacDonald Estates and currently, Ediston.
Alastair is a non-executive director at West Ranga Property Group, reporting to the board of directors in an advisory capacity.
Andrew joined West Ranga in 2025 to focus on Trade Counter and Industrial & Logistics development.
Previously an Equity Partner at Montagu Evans, Andrew is regarded as one of the foremost experts in the UK Trade Counter market.
Erik holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Leiden and will shortly complete his Masters in the same subject. He is a proven entrepreneur who has been instrumental in the launch of numerous successful business ventures across many different sectors.
In 2021, Erik decided to focus on his life-long passion for commercial property investment and development and joined West Ranga.
Erik is based out of Berlin and is responsible for the identification and acquisition of property developments and investments across Western Europe.
West Ranga Property Group was established in 2016.
Whilst our primary focus is occupier-led development, we also target speculative refurbishment or development opportunities, strategic land, development partnerships and value-add investment assets.
